Spa Alkalinity Increaser raises the total Alkalinity reading and prevents fluctuations during pH adjustment. Alkalinity readings should be maintained between 80 - 150ppm. 

WHY? 
Total Alkalinity Plus is used to reduce the alkalinity of your spa water. Spa water tends to lose total alkalinity (TA) within days of you filling your spa with fresh water. Low TA will result in damage to your spa equipment, pH
fluctuation and bather discomfort, ideal levels are between 100ppm (parts per million) and 140ppm. 

WHEN? 
Test the Alkalinity of your spa water at least twice per week, more often if you are located in a soft-water area.  

HOW? 
1. Pre-dissolve the required amount of Total Alkalinity Plus in a clean plastic  bucket filled with warm water. Stir the solution until the granules are fully dissolved.
2. Ensure that your spa circulation pump is turned on before slowly pouring  the solution directly onto your spa water surface.
3. Continue to run your Spa circulation pump for at least 15 minutes.
4. Re-test your spa water and repeat dosage until a TA reading of between  100ppm and 140ppm is achieved.
5. Allow 15 minutes before using your spa

 HOW MUCH? As a general guide, a heaped teaspoon holds 8g of granules
