The Pentair IntelliFlo USW5P6R-VSD2 VSD pool pump is a variable speed pool pump that can provide tremendous energy savings. When operated at low speeds energy consumption is reduced by as much as 90% compared with a single speed pool pump.

With the IntelliFlo it is possible to select a very precise speed or flow to perfectly suit your needs, at any time of the day or night. Thanks to the multi-speed / multi-flow capabilities you can use the IntelliFlo pumps to fine tune the performance of heat pumps, filter systems and suction cleaners, or perform functions like filtration at night.

The IntelliFlo has also a direct impact on the water quality, not only will the filtration be improved at low speed (water takes longer to pass through the filter) but backwashing will be more efficient due to a higher flow which clears the dirt from the filter better.
